Well Daddy did get to come home today. He will have to travel back to Durham tomorrow (Tuesday) and on Wednesday for radiation treatments. I hope that doesn't tire him out.
He did not get to work with the physical therapist any today which I regret because no one has worked with him on how to get up and down steps with the walker. I hope that Mama doesn't mess her back up worse trying to help him.
Daddy sounded pretty tired when I talked to him this afternoon after visiting the eye doctor, the diabetes clinic, radiation, medical records, etc. before his discharge.
He has quite a menu laid out for Thursday. Let's hope we live up to his expectations and that his esophagus and blood sugar are up for it as well.
I probably won't write quite as often since he doesn't have a doctor's appointment for another week or so.
