End of the Semester!

Well, one presentation and two graduate papers down, one more paper to go! YAH! Thank goodness, my Monday commute to Raleigh for graduate class is over! I have Research Methods this fall and I must confess that I dread it already.

It's been a busy week. We have FINALLY gotten the baby crib together after having to locate new hardware for it, since we misplaced the old. We have hung some new towel racks, hooks, etc. around the house and the carport is almost finished. They put the ceiling fan up today and hope to hang the screen door tomorrow. We are slowly but surely getting there.

Neil's grandmother has been in the hospital and someone has been staying with her 24/7. She has just simply lost the ability to get around and had some fluid in her lungs and around her heart so they are doing physical therapy to improve her mobility. Neil goes to the doctor next week for his big one year anniversary of remission so say a prayer!!!

Tonight we took Zoe (Lynae's one year old dog) to puppy training and worked with her, the baby carrier and a baby blanket trying to teach her the command of "around" so that she will not step on the baby when he gets here. Zoe is tired and that is always good!

Still no decision on a baby name and we are six weeks or less away. Lynae likes Landon Eli (so that he would have her initials), Molly (Neil's mom) likes Blake William (Neil's grandaddy was William Madison) and I sort of like Nate Rodney (Neil is Neil Rodney). There are about 10 more on the possibility list. YIKES. Suggestions from the peanut gallery???

I hope to get pictures of the carport this weekend...

Travis just celebrated his 5 year cancer free anniversary which means that it's official!!! HE'S CANCER FREE!

Neil's grandmother has and will be in my prayers. How about Blake Orson Bowman? Then he can be BOB. :)
