Daddy is in a lot of pain today (mostly from his spine lesions) and is having trouble breathing. The doctors have finally determined that he has a mold growing in his lung in addition to the cancer that is growing there. They are trying to isolate it and determine what kind of mold it is. He also has thrush in his esophagus.
He continues to have radiation M-F (except Holidays) until Tuesday, November 27th.
Please pray that:
the radiation shrinks the tumors and relieves the pressure on his spine
the doctors can control his pain
they can isolate and treat the mold
they can treat the thrush
Daddy's spirits are lifted
I cannot visit him until they identify the type of mold that he has so you can imagine that my telephone bill is high between calling Mama and Daddy and the doctors.
Mama is staying with Daddy at the hospital for now. We have amazing friends and family that are feeding the dogs, cats and cattle and are picking Daddy's soybeans for him.
