The doctors have determined that Daddy HAD a collapsed lung. They were concerned enough that they put a tube in it to drain it and reinflate it at 9:30 last night. So far so good. Evidently that is why he almost went into shock Thursday morning.
The onoclogist came in this morning and said that they would re-evaluate Daddy in about a month, but that he is too weak to do any treatments right now. He also said that he felt the lower spine tumor (on his T9 vertabrae) has damaged his neurons so that spine surgery is useless at this point.
They are going to try to move Daddy to a private room today so that Mama can stay with him so I don't have a direct telephone number for him. The number to the hospital is 1-888-878-6890.
Daddy is taking a lot of pain medication so therefore everything he says doesn't always make sense. If you catch him at a bad time you may just want to call back later.
Some good news - I went to the doctor today and am almost 13 weeks pregnant which puts me due June 5th. We've known for awhile now, but with everything that is going on I wanted to make it to the 2nd trimester before making a big announcement. No 4-H programming for me this summer. Lynae has big plans while she out of school for the summer (Tweetsie, Emerald Point Water Park, Gelbvieh Jr. Nationals, etc.). We'll see what I am up for.

Thanks for your continued prayers!
P.S. - I have two more graduate papers to do before December 10th so you can add that to your prayer list!

Whatever you need help with, just let me know! Whether it's paper editing or even if you need me to come down and spend the weekend in with Lynae so you have some time to yourself, all you have to do is ask.
